Thermal Analysis

Central Chemical Consulting has helped numerous clients through our thermal analysis based projects and measurements. This work has been conducted for a wide range of clients both miners and non-miners. We have provided information at both the early project feasibility and fully operational stages. Our thermal analysis work provides information on mass changes with heating (TGA) and calorimetric data such as reaction energies and heat capacities (DSC/DTA). Examples include calcination energy for mineral sand samples and mass and energy changes on heating a lithium-mica roast mixture. Other work conducted includes thermal analysis of flame retardant materials and the determination of the specific heat capacity of a fluorocarbon product.
